The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology says allergy symptoms affecting the eyes may include:

  • Watery eyes.
  • Itchy eyes.
  • Red eyes.
  • Sensitivity to light.
  • A gritty sensation.
  • Swelling of the eyelids.
